About
Almost Bought is a store where you can’t spend money. You can pick, check out, pay and wait for your order — just like in a real online store. Except your money stays with you.
Why
You know the feeling: you see something and want it right now. Often the urge fades in a couple of days, while the purchase gathers dust and the money is gone. That’s why the classic advice is to pause before buying and let the urge cool down.
Almost Bought turns that pause into a game. You do everything you’d do when shopping: compare, choose, apply a promo code, follow the courier on the map. The joy of choosing and waiting is a big part of the pleasure of buying — here you get it for free. And when the order “arrives”, it often turns out you don’t need it anymore.
How it works
- Pick a product — electronics, watches, clothes, even a yacht.
- Check out: delivery, payment, promo codes, points. Nothing is charged — card details are never requested.
- Wait: the courier moves on the map, emails and notifications arrive, you can chat with support.
- The order is “delivered” — and you see how much money stayed in your pocket.
If you still want the item after the pause, it’s a considered decision — buy it in a real store.
What isn’t real
Products, prices, brands, couriers, sample reviews and some support replies are simulated. Product photos are AI-generated. The only real things here are the money you saved and a good mood.
If shopping gets in the way of life
Almost Bought is a game, not a treatment. If the urge to shop becomes compulsive, leads to debt or arguments with loved ones, talk to a psychologist or therapist — this is something people get help with.
